You must:

Be a Canadian Citizen

Be employed

Be at least 18 yrs old

Be paid by direct deposit from your employer

Make at least $667 per month

If you answered Yes to these requirements, then you are eligible for a loan with us.

How Much Money can I get?

The amount you are eligible to loan, depends on your net income. Loan limits may increase depending on your repayment history with us. The minimum loan amount is $100 and the maximum is $1500.00.

What are your Rates?

We charge a flat fee for every $100 you borrow. To see exactly how much it will cost to borrow the amount you would like, see our Rates page, or click here.

I have bad credit. Will you still give me a loan?

Bad credit, Good credit, no credit at all; as long as you are not currently in a state of bankruptcy, you should qualify for a loan.

Will you run a credit check?

RedLeafLoans.ca may need to verify some of your information against several national data bases including TransUnion. A bad credit score, or no credit score at all does not mean you will not be approved.

Do you need to contact my employer?

In some cases, employment verification is required. If we need to call your employer, we will not disclose any information as to who we are, nor what your business with us is.

Once approved, how do I receive my money?

The funds are sent directly to your bank. Most people see the money in their accounts the following morning.

How do I repay this loan?

We will automatically debit the loan amount along with the fees straight from your chequing account. This works much the same way the money was put in. You don’t need to do a thing, other than ensure the funds are available.

What happens if I don’t have the money available on my repayment date?

We will send you an email two business days prior to your repayment date, just to remind you that we will be withdrawing the funds. If the money is not available when we attempt to take it, you may experience NSF fees from your bank. Additionally, you may incur NSF fees between $20 and $58 from us, depending on your province of residence. Our payment services department will gladly work with you to make your payment and in most cases you can request another loan the same day.

Can I get an extension or rollover my loan?

While we do not offer extensions or rollovers, you are able to request another loan the same day you have one due back. As long as the debits clear your account, you are welcome to more money.

Why don't you offer extensions or rollovers?

We at RedLeafLoans.ca believe a payday loan should be a short term solution only. When a loan is rolled over, interest accumulates. This almost always results in a vicious cycle of paying off interest and never the principal. For more information on responsible loaning, visit our Responsible Lending page.
