More and more Canadian retailers are getting in on the Black Friday phenomenon. Although many like to keep their deals secret until Black Friday arrives, there are still some great deals to be found in advance. Who doesn’t like saving money on their holiday shopping? Why wait until Boxing Day to get lower prices on furniture? The RedLeafLoans.ca deal scouts have been at it again, and we’re happy to share the 5 best advertised Canadian Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals of 2013 with you. Please note that although the sales are advertised as ‘Black Friday Deals,’ some of them begin and end before the actual Black Friday date of November 29.

1. Old Navy – 50% off everything and the chance to win $1 million! Old Navy is having a huge sale from Friday, November 29 until Monday, December 2.  Try to get there for Friday because everything in the store is 50% off.  If you are amongst the first 500 shoppers to buy something (Friday only), you will be entered to win $1 million.  If you can’t make it on Friday, you’ll still get 40% off of everything on Saturday,  and 30% off of everything on Sunday and Monday.

2. Husdon’s Bay – In addition to offering free shipping on orders of $99 or more, and accepting PayPal payments, The Bay is already offering some huge daily deals. Today (November 20), the Nespresso U Espresso maker with a Bonus Aeroccino milk-frother is on sale for $149.95. That’s a savings of $100. You will have to keep checking daily for other great deals now through Black Friday.

3.Shoppers Drug Mart – If you collect Optimum points, then this deal will surely appeal to you. On Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1, Shoppers Drug Mart is hosting a Mega Redemption Event. Redeem 38,000 Optimum points and get $70 ($10 more than usual). Redeem 50,000 points and get $105 ($20 more than usual). Redeem 95,000 points and get $210 ($40 more than usual). Keep in mind that they sell an assortment of electronics and video games here.

4. MyJewelryBox.com –Save 20% by using the promo code – FALL20 up until December 31st.  Jewelry is generally expensive. Buying online can save you quite a bit of money, and this site generally has some amazing clearance sales. You will pay around $9 for shipping, but no duty. Depending how large you plan on going, 20% can make a significant difference.

5. Indigo – 20% off LEGO. If you have someone on your list who is asking for LEGO, it’s likely not your traditional box of random pieces. Sets like the Star Wars Tie-Fighter run around $70 regularly. With the 20% savings, you can get the same set online at $55.96. You will also benefit from free shipping on orders over $25. There are smaller items (great for stocking stuffers) on sale for $10-$12. This offer ends this Sunday, November 24.
